This policy explains the cookies and measurement tools used by this store, your choices and how to change them. It forms part of our Privacy and POPIA Policy.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. It can keep your basket and sign-in working between pages. Some cookies end with a browser session; others have an expiry date.
2. What we use them for
2.1 Necessary cookies run and protect the store. Optional measurement counts visits, product views and purchases. Optional advertising measurement helps us count orders from our advertisements. This store does not enable personalised advertising.
2.2 Necessary cookies are always on. Measurement starts only after you accept it. Advertising measurement uses those measurement events only when you have accepted both measurement and advertising. Accepting advertising alone does not start measurement.
3. Cookies and measurement tools
Strictly necessary
- PrestaShop-* is set by this store to maintain your session, basket and sign-in. The store's current session-cookie lifetime is 72 hours. Activity may renew that expiry.
- psa_consent is set by this store to remember your choices for measurement and advertising. It is kept for 12 months after you save a choice.
- __cf_bm is set by Cloudflare to distinguish automated traffic from visitors and protect the store. It expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.
- cf_clearance may be set by Cloudflare after a security check. It records that the check has been passed. Its expiry depends on the security check and is shown in your browser's cookie information.
Measurement, only with your agreement
- _ga and _ga_* are Google Analytics cookies used to distinguish browser visits and sessions. This store requests an expiry of up to 390 days, approximately 13 months, from the latest visit. Your browser may impose a shorter lifetime.
- Ahrefs Web Analytics counts visits and pages without setting analytics cookies. We still wait for your measurement consent before loading it.
Advertising, only with your agreement
- Google advertising-measurement cookies, including _gcl_au where set, help attribute purchases to advertisements. _gcl_au is kept for up to 90 days. These cookies require advertising consent as well as measurement consent on this store.
3.1 Cookie names can include an identifier that varies between browsers or services. You can inspect the cookies and their expiry dates in your browser. We review this list when the store's cookie use changes.
4. Your choice
4.1 The cookie notice offers Only essential, Choose and Accept all. Choose lets you switch measurement and advertising on or off separately. The Google and Ahrefs measurement tags do not load while measurement is declined or no choice has been made.
4.2 Open Cookie settings at any time, including through the link at the foot of each page, to change or withdraw your choice. Withdrawing a group clears the corresponding Google cookies accessible to this store and reloads the page to stop its optional tags. Cookies belonging to other sites can be removed through your browser's settings.
4.3 Changing optional-cookie choices does not prevent shopping, affect an existing order or erase information recorded before the change. Necessary session and security cookies remain in use.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
5.1 Your browser lets you inspect, delete and block cookies, usually under Privacy or Site settings. Browser controls apply independently of the choices saved by this store.
5.2 Blocking necessary cookies can prevent sign-in, the basket or checkout from working.
6. What measurement records
6.1 With measurement consent, Google Analytics records page and product interactions, approximate location, device and browser information. Google uses IP addresses to derive approximate location and does not log or store those IP addresses in Google Analytics.
6.2 Purchase measurement can include a transaction reference, products and order totals. The store does not send the customer's name, email address or website account identifier as analytics fields. Advertising measurement uses purchase events only when both optional choices are enabled.
6.3 Ahrefs records aggregate website use without analytics cookies or persistent visitor identifiers. Its documentation explains the technical information it receives.

7. Other websites and payment pages
7.1 When you follow a link to another website, its cookie and privacy notices apply there.
7.2 Our payment provider uses its own secure payment pages during checkout. Cookies set on those pages are governed by the provider's notices and browser controls.
