Proudly SA Online Store is the online marketplace of Proudly South African, the national buy-local campaign. Every product listed here is sold by a South African business that is a verified Proudly South African member.
Why the store exists
Proudly South African was established to promote local companies and the jobs they support. This store is the practical side of that work. It is a place to buy from those companies directly, and to know that what you are buying was made, grown or produced in South Africa.
How the marketplace works
Products are listed and dispatched by the vendors who make them, not from a single central warehouse. If you order from more than one vendor, your items may arrive as separate parcels and on different days. Each vendor is responsible for their own stock and dispatch. We handle payment, customer support and the returns process.
Every vendor is checked against Proudly South African membership criteria before their products go on sale, which cover local content, quality, fair labour practice and environmental standards.
